Established more than twenty years ago by Houstonian Sam McBirney, Buffalo Antiques specializes in the tangible pieces of Old West & cowboy history. Buffalo is the realization of Sam’s love of finding and restoring antiques along with his personal love of 19th century Texan history and decades of self-driven research.

Are all these items originals or reproductions?
We specialize in rare, unique antiques; everything we have is an original – maps, hats, and everything in between – unless it is clearly marked as a reproduction or later copy.
Wherever possible, we have included the provenance and history of each piece, and can talk you through anything you have questions on – please don't hesitate to reach out!
What shipping precautions do you take?
Because all our pieces are precious and fragile, we take all possible precautions when shipping. Everything will be packed snugly with an abundance of caution and marked as fragile – and we take out insurance on every parcel shipped, just in case!
If anything arrives damaged please get in touch and we will do everything in our power to address the situation to everyone’s satisfaction.
Do you offer local pickup or delivery?
